What Happened After I Finished My Book
When I finished writing Snatched From the Enemy, I expected to feel relief, excitement, and maybe even a little celebration. Instead, I found myself feeling... lost.
For months, my days had a clear purpose. Every chapter, every memory, and every prayer brought me one step closer to finishing the story God had placed on my heart. Then one day, it was finished.
I found myself asking, "Lord, what's next?"
As I prayed, I sensed God wasn't asking me to accomplish another big goal. He was inviting me to be faithful in the small things.
That's when 10 Minutes of Faithfulness was born.
I committed to walking for just ten minutes each day. No pressure. No impossible expectations. Just one simple act of faithfulness.
On my very first day, ten minutes became fifteen because I couldn't make myself stop.
Over the next few days, I kept showing up. Some days it was on the treadmill. One day it was a walk around my office. It wasn't about perfection. It was about keeping a promise to myself and honoring the body God has given me.
I'm learning that faithfulness isn't measured by the size of the task. It's measured by our willingness to take the next step.
Maybe you've just finished a big season in your own life. Maybe you're wondering what's next.
Can I encourage you?
You don't have to have the whole journey figured out.
Just take the next faithful step.
For me, it started with ten minutes.
For you, it might be making that phone call, opening your Bible, taking a walk, forgiving someone, or simply praying, "Lord, here I am."
God meets us in those moments.
"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."— Lamentations 3:22–23

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding us that You don't measure our lives by grand accomplishments, but by faithful hearts. Help us not to become overwhelmed by the distance ahead. Give us the courage to take the next step You have placed before us. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that Your faithfulness never fails.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
